You know the  aphorism about  identical sons.  Their  mother and father  were  drunks.  One twin was a  teetotaler, the other  a drunk.

When asked why, each twin had the same answer" With alcoholic parents, what did you expect?"

Mickey Mooney's  ?

Judy Garland's?

Guess  Who's Coming to  Dinner--

I have seen  this before and was pleased  to hear  the 5 Keys sing Glory of Love  in the background..

On TCM  last nite--there was some pop  chorus  singing it.  No  5 Keys! Cry Cry Cry

I  know  changes  had  to be made  to  the  final cut  of the  movie because some   references  became quickly dated--references to  MLK,  George Wallace,  laws against inter racial marriage etc.. I guess Rudy and  the boys were deleted too.

Any  info?

They might have had two different cuts of the film with the 2 different sound tracks.  I remember seeing the film and hearing both the chorus, and The Five Keys' version.  Maybe I saw 2 different versions.  But, maybe the two different versions of the song are played at different times during the film?

Robb-thanx.  So I  correctly  recall  the 5  Keys.    U know they are  constantly  "remastering"older   movies--really hope the 5  Keys  didn't get remastered out. Afraid they are gone from the newest  cut.  TMC  plays  full  movies-no  commercials etc.  But TMC  does like " brightened" remastered product--this is after all 50 yrs old.  Tracys last film-died 2 wks after his last scene.

I saw  the whole  movie last nite--listened  carefully  for  5 Keys--not there .  Glory of Love  is sung and played  throughout  film--even  a  clip  in a club  with mixed? female singing it--

Didn't realize Glory of Love  is a standard from 30s!

Keeping it with Dirty Dozen, who played a role in DD and then played a Bond film villain a few years later?
