Thanks for posting. Interesting, the steps they use to make a vinyl record. Wonder how that differs from how vinyl records were made years ago.

Lou - Glad to hear one of my motherlands has got itself a market for something besides crystal.  The procedure sounds the same as I remember, but they are leaving steps out, so it might be different in other ways.

It may be pretty much the same process but I know in the 1950s the metal molds were made from an acetate disc. No mention of that in the current process (as I would expect with all the technological advances).

doc - Lots of instances where the black is rarer but fetches the lower price.
